Questions, answered
Can you register a cooperative or stokvel?
We register your group as a formal entity so it can bank, contract and apply as one body. Our Basic Registration Pack (R995, CIPC fee included) covers registration, a SARS number and a B-BBEE affidavit.
Why formalise a stokvel?
A registered entity can open a business bank account, sign supplier and lease agreements, and apply for funding or programmes. An informal group cannot do these things in its own name.
What does each member need to provide?
Download the free checklist above - it lists exactly what details and documents each member must supply to register.
